The call for evangelism has burned into the hearts of Dr. Tim and Betty Cornett for years. Having traveled in over 85 countries in the last 42 years, they have seen how sharing the message of God's love has changed people's lives. Since 1987 they have followed the call to go into Eastern Europe to preach the gospel. Their calling has led them to the country of Bulgaria.

After several years of evangelistic work in Bulgaria, the Cornetts began a Bible College in 1993 and later moved it to the city of Dobrich. In 1999, work began on a new building to serve as the Home Church and Bible College, and renovation began on a Ministry Center to be used for youth and children's ministries. In a country with such strong atheistic and Islamic influence, this building stood out as a living witness to the glory of God.

Also, the Ministry Center was completely renovated to now provide for the Children and Youth Ministries. There are Children's Church, Nursery Facility, and a Youth Meeting Room located downstairs; and this area is also used all week for various activites. Upstairs are the student dormitories and guest quarters. We were blessed to have had many of our supporting pastors, evangelists, and partners who came to see what God is doing in this former communist country. It is truly a testimony of the power of Almighty God in this place!

Camp & Conference Center
To the right is a building purchased that is able to serve as a Church/Parsonage for the local area as well as a District Youth Camp Facility and Conference Center. The property also has a swimming pool, courtyard area, commercial kitchen, and classrooms/conference rooms. A larger version of the picture can be seen by clicking

Ministry Training Center
Beginning in 2006, this Ministry Training Center will be the location for training pastors, teachers, and Missionaries. Also, this facility will lodge our guests & workers for youth camp.

The vision of Cornett Ministries continues with the acquisition of land adjoining the Youth Camp complex. This is where the new Ministry Training Center is built. Not only to teach the children during youth camp but also to be used as a church, conference center, extension for the Bible College, dormitory for our workers and guests, and a facility to hold life-changing seminars.


Churches Planted
Many of the graduates are living now in villages located throughout northeast Bulgaria and are pastoring churches. Cornett Ministries has been able to purchase buildings for churches in many of these towns to have a permanent meeting place for worship.
