Cornett Ministries, founded by Dr. Tim & Betty Cornett, is a 501(C)3, non-profit, tax-exempt, IRS approved mission oriented organization and they are fulfilling the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ. "Go ye into all the world" -Mark 16:15, Matthew 24:14, John 4:35.

Tim and Betty Cornett were married in 1963 and successfully pastored three churches in their first 15 years of marriage and built two church buildings and one parsonage. The call for mission evangelism burned in the hearts of this team, and for the past 23 years the Holy Spirit has taken them into over 80 countries. It is really astonishing to them how the Lord led them into Eastern Europe, when very few had preached behind this Iron Curtain. They preached in Poland, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Hungary, Yugoslavia, and then in Bulgaria where God really touched their hearts. The people there were hungry for revival and they experienced thousands of people being saved, and filled with the Holy Spirit. Many, many miraculous miracles were seen, and God began to plant the vision to begin a Bible College to train these new converts. To train the untrained, teach the untaught, to reach the unreached. They did not know how this could happen, since there were none among the evangelicals during their first visits there in 1987-1988. But then God's hand began to move all over the Eastern European countries, and the walls began to crumble, between the Berlin Wall to the Iron Curtain. They were bringing in humanitarian aid to the hospital, orphanage home, and the poor. God opened the door (Rev. 3:6-9) and the Minister of Health, Mr. Dimitrov, arranged a meeting with the President Zhelyu Zhelev on January 28, 1991 and after one hour of dialogue and prayer for the President and the nation, favor was given to Cornett Ministries and in April 1991 the Minister of Religious Affairs Office, Metodi Spassov, gave them the first foreign legal registration for religious work.
